Fines for breaches of Covid regulations multiply if the offence is repeated, as one offender has discovered today (Friday 22 January).

A man aged 22 and a woman aged 32 were charged with breach of Covid regulations concerning visiting other households, after being found at a residential address in Stornoway yesterday (Thursday).

The pair, who were detected at 1.30pm yesterday, are to be fined by Police Scotland, with one fine now standing at £240 after a series of Covid-regulation breaches by the same individual.
