Extensive disruption to ferry services across the Islands today (Friday December 4) will continue to affect sailings tomorrow.
On Stornoway-Ullapool, there will be no sailings before the 14.30 tomorrow. Due to adverse weather and associated sea swell, the 14:00 departing Stornoway and the 17:30 departing Ullapool today were cancelled as are tomorrow’s 0700 sailing from Stornoway and the 1030 from Ullapool.

On the Lochmaddy-Uig-Tarbert services most of today’s sailinsg were cancelled and, weather permitting, the following two sailings will operate: Uig - Lochmaddy 18:15 (scheduled sailing) Lochmaddy - Uig 20:15 (delayed 11:50 sailing).
Tomorrow (Saturday 5th December) the timetable will start with Uig-Lochmaddy at 07:30; and Lochmaddy - Tarbert at 09:40. Normal timetable will then resume with the 11:50 sailing from Tarbert, weather permitting, of course.
At Lochboisdale all services were cancelled today and tomorrow the following amended timetable will operate: Depart Lochboisdale; 1100 Arrive Mallaig 1430; Depart Mallaig 1520; Arrive Lochboisdale 1850.
On Sunday 6th December, in support of essential lifeline services, the 13:30 from Mallaig to Lochboisdale will operate via Castlebay as follows: Depart Mallaig – 1330; Arrive Castlebay – 1730; Depart Castlebay – 1745 Arrive Lochboisdale – 1925
The Oban to Castlebay sailing has been cancelled today. Tomorrow, an additional service will operate as follows: Depart Oban 09:30; Arrive Castlebay 14:15.
