Replacement bridge, Bernera

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar has applied for planning permission to build a replacement bridge to Bernera. The bridge is to comprise a 100-metre clear span modular trussed structure to the east of the existing structure. The bridge type chosen is a Maybey Bridge Delta System. The structure will be supported on rock embankments with armour stone surround. Existing access road will be re-aligned to structure.

 

Demolition of current house, erection of new house, Shawbost

Angela Macleod of 38 Lower Shader has applied for planning permission to demolish the house at 13A Shawbost and erect a new house and a detached garage. Work is to include creating parking suitable for two cars. The house is to consist of three bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen/dining area, a utility room and two bathrooms.

 

House, Point

Brian. Patterson of 10 Sheshader has applied for planning permission to erect a house at 32 Shulishader, Point. The house is to consist of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/dining/living area. Work is to include creating parking suitable for two cars.

 

Change of use of land, Bernera

Bernera Community Council has applied for planning permission to change the use of the land at Bosta Croir, Bernera, from grazing land to hardstanding to improve the viewing area.

 

House, Newmarket

Beth Chaplin of (c/o)  HAUS, The Green House, Inverness, has applied for planning permission to erect a house at 38B Newmarket. The house is to consist of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen/dining/family area, a lounge and a utility room. Work is to include installation of an air source heat pump.

 

House, Stornoway

Allan Murray of 10 Sand Street has applied for planning permission to erect a house at 9A Sand Street. Work is to include creating an access.

 

Two hypedome shelters, Uig

Gallan Head Community Trust has applied for planning permission to install two spherical polycarbonate hypedome shelters at Café Gallan Beag, Aird, Uig. The shelters are to be 3.6 metres in diameter and 2.3 metres tall.

 

Storage building, Uig

Uig Community Council has applied for planning permission to erect a timber frame storage building in Crowlista, Uig. The building is to be 15.14 metres long, 7.129 metres wide and 4.2 metres tall.

 

Alter and extend house, Ness

Donald F Morrison of 54 Burnie Boozle Crescent, Aberdeen, has applied for planning permission to alter and extend the house at 141 Cross Skigersta Road, Ness. Work is to include creating two more parking spaces so that there will be a total of three parking spaces.

Mr and Mrs John and Carmen MacDonlad of 95C Newmarket have applied for planning permission to erect a house at 9B Aignish, Point. The house is to consist of four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a kitchen/dining/living area, a lounge, a plamnt room and a utility room.  Work is also to include creating a new access and parking suitable for two cars.

Morag McNeill of 3 Redmire Crescent, Allanton, Shotts, has applied for planning permission to build a new house at 54B Coll and to site a caravan for residential use during the build. The house is to consist of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen/dining area, a living room, a plant room and a utility room. Work is to include creating a new access.
