Prior-notification for farm-related building works, Back
Craig Macleod of 3 Fleming Place, Stornoway has applied for planning permission to build an agricultural building at 42 Vatisker, Back. The building is to be 12 metres in length, three metres high and seven metres wide. The wall and roof are to be made of galvanised steel.
Erect polycrub, Lochs
Calum Mackinnon of Cnoc Bhard, 4 Leurbost has applied for planning permission to erect a polycrub at Cnoc Bhard, 4 Leurbost. The polycrub is to be 12 metres long, four metres wide, 2.6 metres tall. The walls are to be made of polycarbonate sheeting and timber cladding, and the roof is to be made of polycarbonate roof sheeting.
New build, Uig
Nick Barnard of 80 St. Ann's Hill, London, has applied for planning permission to build a house at 2A Timsgarry, Uig. The house is to consist of three bedrooms, kitchen/dining/living area, sauna, three bathrooms, utility room, study and rec room. An air source heatpump is to be installed. Work is also to include erecting a shed. A new access will be created to join the public road, and parking will be created suitable for two cars.
New build, Sandwick
David Carty of 26 North Street has applied for planning permission to build a house at 26B North Street, Sandwick. House is to consist of five bedrooms, three bathrooms, kitchen/living/dining area, utility room and larder. House will also have an air source heatpump, and work is to include creating parking suitable for two cars.
Alter and extend house, Ness
Ron and Karen Coleman of 28 Habost, Ness, have applied for planning permission to alter a 1920s era rubble-built cottage. Work is to include replacing two lean to extensions at the rear with one lean to extension of similar size.
Erect agricultural building, Great Bernera
Tim Macdonald of 9 Croir has applied for planning permission to erect an agricultural building at 1 Croir. The building is to be twelve metres long, six metres wide, and five metres tall. It is to have green metal walls and grey cement fibre sheets.
New EE mast, Breasclete
EE has applied for planning permission to install a twenty metre high lattice tower at Telecommunications Tower, Ceadraiseal, Breasclete. Equipment and equipment cabinet are also to be added. New vehicular access and layby will also be created.
Change of use, Stornoway
Malcolm Macleod has applied for planning permission to change the use of the office at 14 Bayhead into a one-bedroom flat.
Isle of Harris
Extend house, Tarbert
Seamus Morrison of 4B East Tarbert has applied for planning permission to extend the house at 4B East Tarbert. The plan is to create a 1.75 storey extension which will consist of one bedroom, a lounge, a utility room, a bathroom and a plant/storage room.
Change of use, Tarbert
James McGowan of Burnside, Bunavoneader, has applied for planning permission to turn the business at 2 Iomairt An Obain, Tarbert, into a brewery.
