on

Wednesday the 22nd of March at 6.30pm

at

the Council Offices, Sandwick Road

Stornoway Amenity Trust is looking for new members willing to help out with arranging the environmental projects and public displays in the town that people throughout the island look forward to and enjoy so much, particularly the Christmas lights, seasonal flower arrangements and the Hogmanay fireworks. Chair of the Trust, Charlie Nicolson, says “It is important for the Amenity Trust to add to their committee and get some new members to join so more people can get involved in the Amenity Trust projects for the town of Stornoway, and work together for our community. Come along and get involved please.“ These events can only happen with enough support and assistance from the local community. If you have a few hours to spare and would be willing to volunteer, come to the AGM and join in! Everyone welcome.
