Callum took on board the advice of Charlie Barley butchers in creating his winning burgers.
Big news from the Royal Highland Show today is that Nicolson Institute pupil Callum Macritchie has won the Quality Meat Scotland national 'My Town, My Burger' competition.
The school burger competition, run by The Scotch Burtchers Club (Quality Meat Scotland) challenges pupils to develop a healthy burger recipe using Scotch Beef PGI, Scotch Lamb PGI or Specially Selected Pork.
Earlier this month Callum visited Charles Macleod Butchers Ltd for help in creating his unique dish, the Big Marag Burger.
And Charlie Barleys was pleased to announce this afternoon that Callum and his burger were crowned winners at the Royal Highland Show in Edinburgh.
