Two men have been arrested this week after a break-in at shop premises in Cromwell Street, Stornoway earlier this month.

Western Isles police have been making enquiries since the shop window was broken just before 1am on Monday April 8th.

Early this week (Sunday and Monday 21st and 22nd April) a man aged 22 and another aged 18 were traced, arrested, cautioned and charged with attempted housebreaking with intent. A report will now be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
