Rally Hebrides 2017 benefitted from a generally sunny day yesterday (Saturday August 19th)  - although showers affected some of the stages, particularly the early-morning one at Melbost Farm and spectators donned a variety of clothing to cope with the conditions as the event progressed.

There were great crowds at the Creed Park auto centre of organisers Lewis Car Club as the efforts to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Care reached their climax. And car after car put on a special display on the track.

Throughout the day, the service area in the CnES Car Park in Sandwick Road was busy with cars undergoing repairs and maintenance and crews, drivers and support staff getting a chance to meet up.
