Fundraisers Belinda and James Richardson are seeking help from companies, individuals, groups or families to sponsor them £238 to visit each of the 46 SCOTTISH RNLI Lifeboat Stations for this year’s RNLI-911 Challenge in Scotland.
And Stornoway, Leverburgh and Barra stations are still without sponsors.
"Each year for the next sixyears we will be setting ourselves a different RNLI-911 Challenge with the aim of raising awareness and funds for the RNLI.
"From now until 2024 when the RNLI will celebrate its bicentenary, we are hoping to raise enough funds - via our Lifeboat Appeal to buy the RNLI ‘D’ Class Lifeboat! (2018 cost £52,000)
"Every penny of the £238 of sponsorship will go to our Appeal
"In return, we will not only feature each sponsor on our website and social media pages but have a decal of their name/logo applied to ‘SPLASH’ - the RNLI-911 Challenge Car!
"Plus, for an extra £25 we can produce a personalised commemorative blue plaque which we will present to the sponsor’s respective station."
