A successive wave of storms is threatening the Western Isles over coming days.
Peak winds with gusts of more than 60mph are expected overnight tonight (Monday March 11th). Another peak is expected tomorrow afternoon.
The ferry between Tarbert and Uig this afternoon has been cancelled and this evening’s Ullapool to Stornoway service is threatened with cancellation.
Amended schedules are in operation from Castlebay to Oban with warnings of further disruption as weather worsens tomorrow.
