This Sunday, St Columba's Church, Lewis Street, Stornoway, is holding a "Sea Sunday" service at 11am.

This is an opportunity for island people who depend so much on the sea , to give thanks for God's protection and provision.

All agencies who are connected with the sea are invited to attend, along with the RNLI, Lifeboat Guild, Coastguards, Stornoway Port Authority and fishermen and oil workers.

There will be tea and coffee afterwards in the Hall.
