Would-be nurses get a chance to learn what nursing education is all about on Thursday (12 April 2018).

The Department of Nursing of the University of the Highlands and Islands – which has campuses in Stornoway and Inverness – is holding an event at the Western Isles Hospital, on Macaulay Road, Stornoway, from 3pm.

They say: “We provide accessible, evidence informed education for nurses and other health and social care professionals, including undergraduate and postgraduate students.

“Come and find out more about nursing study with us.

“We will be running hourly sessions beginning at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm and 6pm with a presentation consisting of:

  • Clinical practice information
  • SAAS funding & student accommodation
  • How to apply
